Mezcal Grill Likely Coming To Tahoe Park

It appears that Mezcal Grill will be opening up a location in Tahoe Park according to a filing with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The location at 5701 Broadway Suite B is two blocks from Bacon & Butter and was formerly occupied by Cafe Lumiere which closed last Spring.
Mezcal Grill is a Mexican restaurant and bar that was founded in Natomas in 2009. Mezcal is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from any type of agave in contrast to tequila which can only be made from Blue Agave or Weber Agave. The restaurant has a wide variety of dishes with influences from across all Mexican states including Michoacan, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Veracruz and Sinaloa.
The drink menu consists of specialty cocktails like the Mezcal Michelada (pictured above), sangria, mimosas, beer and wine. Take a look at the new bar at the Natomas location.
