The Cheese Steak Shop is a Pleasant Hill-based franchise founded in 1982 by Keith and Kathy Layton in East coast transplants with a love for authentic cheesesteaks. In early 2018, The Cheese Steak Shop was purchased by two foodservice professionals, Dana Huie and Tony Bendana, who combined have over 80 years of experience in all facets of the industry.
